「I chose to stay despite an emergency power outage and was pleased the host was agreeable, as some would not be. I brought extra preparations for the stay and had a comfortable night. I was pleased to see that if I had needed to cook (I was as in town for a dinner), there was a propane bbq on the patio, equipped with propane tanks and utensils! Also, the bed was very comfortable and extra props to the host for the pillow choice. I slept better than I do in my own bed! Thanks again! 」

「Visiting an EWU student athlete and chose The Cottage (sitting on a family farm and among towering trees) as it was a good place to stay, get outdoors, cook, watch movies and generally catch up. Property is lovely and comfortable, well supplied and very clean. Proprietor was available and helpful and we were allowed to walk around the beautiful property. I will definitely stay again. "As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. Even though we had already paid, the hotel almost charged us again. Too many issues overall. The only real highlight was the swimming pool, which our child absolutely loved"
