The Inn at Mountainview is more than adequate for what it is. The staff is very friendly and it is a great place to stay with pets. The rooms are large and there is a lovely outdoor area for pets. The hotel elevator and stairs are both good options. The rooms are very basic but sufficient and clean. The room lighting isn't great even with the 3 lamps on but that's manageable. There is a useful refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker in the the room. The coffee at breakfast is very good and the breakfast items included hot items like eggs and cold items, cereal and yogurt, and breads and pastries and fresh fruit. Just fine. The location is excellent and the parking is conveniently right outside.

Shabby looking. Our suite was mostly ok until we saw the bathroom. Filthy. Hair on floor. Thick mold in shower corners, dirty shower floor, corroded chrome racks, sticky dirty light switch plates, make up and dirty sticky drips and smudges on both sides of bathroom door and door frames. We would have left immediately but it was too late to get different hotel reservations. We left first thing in the morning. We will not be back. What a shame to use The Mountain View name.

2nd floor room was spacious but the whole floor smelled like old cigarettes. It is now a non-smoking hotel but the smell is awful. Our room overlooked the lobby entrance and we had to request the desk person to ask the people out there to not smoke as the smell was coming in our room. They were very loud out there until after 11. lots of traffic noise too. Room was decent, clean but smelly

Room was clean. Beds very comfortable. Amenities disappointing. 30 minutes into breakfast there was no coffee and no one at the front desk. Second morning same thing. Half of one carafe with lukewarm coffee. Room rate half of surrounding properties, you get what you pay for.

This property has seriously gone downhill. The floor in the room was dirty, the ceiling in the bathroom had patchwork done and you could hear noise from other guests in the hallway. Would not stay here again
