“Lovely and good value family run pub and guesthouse. Clean and homely room with everything you need. Lots of food options for dinner and a well stocked bar. The pub was busy but closed and early enough not to disturb me sleeping. Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and a reasonable £10 for a full English. I'd happily stay here again. ”

“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. “Room was clean, staff were all very friendly and helpful, we couldn’t find the underground carpark, but sainsburys was close and no problem there. Really nice touch having a fridge in the room. The only thing missing for me was ice. It was available in the bar which was open til half 9, but we got back late after a show at pavilions, and I have a huge addition to ice cubes! I got through it so it’s okay, it’s just a personal thing, there’s always tea and coffee, but I’m yet to find a hotel to……
