  • Here at Windy Ridge we offer a very comfortable self catering holiday cottage, "The Chicken Coop" is an open plan Studio cottage and has been created by the sympathetic conversion of a traditional old farm building, the cottage is set in 5 acres of grounds, including our own private fishing lakes. Guests are welcome to stroll around the lakes, relax and enjoy their stay. Designed to offer a relaxing break away from the daily grind and are perfect for those seeking to explore the delights of the many attractions of the surrounding local area.
    Windy Ridge cottages is an adults only (strictly no kids) site that offers a pleasant setting for a peaceful break. Well behaved dogs are welcome, we do charge £25 pet cleaning fee, if you wish to bring a 2nd dog this will need to be approved prior to booking and will incur an additional £10 charge.
    The property is within easy reach of Cleethorpes with it’s beautiful beaches and amenities.

We stayed for a few days R and R and it was just perfect Very quiet in a lovely spot. The lovely host was always available if needed and the fishing ponds were a lovely spot for a short walk.

Lovely cottage and welcoming hosts, enjoyed our two night break but definitely wished we had booked in for longer! Eating breakfast each morning on the patio sharing with the guinea fowl and chickens was definitely a highlight, especially with the fresh eggs available!Sadly we didnt have time to have a go at fishing in the lake but we did enjoy some evening strolls around the land which were lovely.Wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends visiting the area.

Weekend Paradise.

A lovely studio cottage. Perfect for a our weekend away. Barb and Luke are the perfect hosts, friendly and helpful, without being instrusive. Chr break at the Chicken Coup

We really enjoyed our Christmas break at the Chicken coup. The hosts Barbara and Luke were very welcoming to us and our dogs. Little piece of heaven

The property was spotless and everything felt like new. It was wonderful seeing all the different types of bird wandering around.The owners had thought of everything, including a list of places to go and takeaway's. It would be paradise for anyone who enjoys fishing.
