Nice hotel, beds and sheets were fabulous. The hotel is renovating, some areas are a little tired. Staff was very nice. Kind of midtown near the expo center.

When I entered the room, there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke. Maybe it's because the building was built a long time ago. The breakfast buffet was nice because the people working there were friendly. The swimming pool is also pretty. There was a red mark on the bed sheet. Looks little dirty.

The air conditioning was working well. At night it was betweeen 25 to 27 Celsius. Very uncomfortable to sleep. Other than that it was good.

Room/bed/pillows were very comfortable. The pool itself is too small for swimming lengths, but the pool area is really pleasant. The area has lots of restaurant options and shopping. Staff at the hotel is nice, breakfast is very good but other restaurant is just so-so.

The hotel was mostly clean with a helpful front desk. The area around the pool is beautiful. The dinner dining/bar area is nicely appointed, but the large screen TVs compromises the idea of fine dining. The separate breakfast area is bright and airy and provides a nice buffet. Both eating areas are staffed with friendly and helpful waiters. All that said, the hotel is not the old Crown Plaza of yore, which was cleaner, more richly staffed, and had a generally brighter feel. The hotel now shows signs of being run down and not adequately cared for.

Not coming back

Disappointing experience due to the night general manager's rude and unprofessional behavior. He treated staff poorly and was disrespectful to guests. Not someone who should be in hospitality.
