En verdad que es una excelente opción si vas a pasear o de compras, ya que estás en el corazón de guadalajara, habitaciones limpias, a/c, el bar es sensacional! Los viernes de mariachis woawww un 100/10 a los mariachis! El sábado una chica canta padrísimo y el ambiente en verdad que sensacional!!! La vista en el bar me encantó! This hotel is absolutely stunning, considering it was built in 1610, I was impressed at how great of shape everything was. Our first rooms air conditioner started acting up on our first day, the staff were quick and efficient to provide us with a new room of the same option within the immediate vicinity, making the transition seem less. The bell boy, was remarkable, his welcome did not just assist us with our bags to our room, but provided the roll of a tour guide through the building with so many historical facts about the place. The roof top bar was incredible, great drinks and snacks, great service, and the mariachi band was incredible. The views of the cathedral and the theatre at night should not be missed. Overall, walking distance to all the main Centro attractions, I wouldn’t suggest staying anywhere else. This hotel felt like we had walked back into the history ourselves, which truly added to our time in the city.

I love staying at the older historical hotels in GDL. Hotel Francés just needs some extra touches. Like paint in the rooms and some dusting of the sofas in the reception area. Overall the place is okay. I wouldn’t stay there again just because there’s other hotel with similar prices and better quality. If you are looking for something reasonable priced and just need somewhere to sleep it’s good.

Decent property for just your basics. Great AC which was a must. Elevator didn’t feel the safest so opted to just walk up and down the stairs which I didn’t mind at all. Hallways are dark at night time not a lot of lighting. But location is excellent right in the middle of centro histórico.
