“We have been here several times over the years and will probably go back but sure noticed the hotel needs some upgrading. Torn carpet held together with duct tape and definitely needs better lighting.”

“We enjoyed our stay and my complaint would be that they need to replace the hvac system in the hotel. The windows were covered but we were understanding about the hotel remodel. We had a power outage but was back on quickly.”

“The views and area were beautiful. We did have a rather rough time in the property restaurant. We ordered an appetizer, side salad and all day breakfast. It took around 45 mins at least to be served. Not many patrons and we also had a tough time being seated. Stood there in line around 10 minutes. ”

“Great time in Golden. The town is a gem. Lots of shopping, bars, restaurants. I little far to walk from the hotel but it was a great departure point.., We did a historic walking tour which was wonderful. Toured coors. Lookout mountain (wild Bill Hickox grave site) had some of the best views in all Colorado…”

“The beds, sheets, pillows, roominess of rooms were awesome! The rates were very reasonable. We were close to everything . The patio I wished was up set up to enjoy some outdoor space to relax but the outdoor hot tub was awesome. Would def stay here again!”

“We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Room was clean and inviting. Because it is a historic building, there is only one bathroom that services all guests on the second floor (you just need to be aware of that). Owner was a gracious host and we enjoyed visiting with her and other guests. Would definitely stay there again. It is a nice change from a standard hotel. ”

“We have enjoyed Cliff house Lodge over the years. We appreciate the friendly staff, the hearty home-cooked breakfast and proximity to Red Rocks. I always check to make sure we can get a room before i book tickets to Red Rocks. The town of Morisson is quite charming too.”
