Stayed here night before hiking Gray's and Torrey's. The hotel (and Silver Plume altogether) is a small and quaint mountain town full of history. The hotel itself is just as advertised: old, quirky, quaint, but lovingly maintained. The communal bathroom was nice, though not sure if we could've done it for a longer stay. However, the breakfast lounge was fully stocked with coffee, baked goods, and the next breakfast burritos ready to go for our 3am wake up time! We thoroughly enjoyed it for what it was and appreciated the town as well!

Friendly helpful staff and exactly as advertised. It's an experience in an old, crooked, creeky, cracked, historic building that we really enjoyed for a night. Help yourself coffee, tea, snacks and breakfast items 24/7 in the lounge was nice and convenient. Shared bath and toilet rooms were clean, well provisioned, and no problem at all. Thanks for a great stay!

The breakfast options were great. Frozen, fresh, and ready to eat items. A good variey of coffee and tea. I am allergic to wheat and the host even left me a delicious, crust-free quiche. The room was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed. Wonderful clawfoot- tub with great shampoo, conditioner, and shower wash. A couple things to keep in mind if you choose to stay here. It has a shared bathroom, however the toilet room and shower/tub room are separate. We never had to wait. Also, if you require a C-pap machine, there is no grounded plug near the bed, at least in the room we were in (rm# 2). It was a lovely, historic hotel. I absolutely loved it and would stay again in a minute!
