"Very good place to stay as a base for St Peter Port & Guernsey. Very central yet quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful: lovely people! Restaurant meals, especially the breakfasts, were great and reasonably priced. Our room was difficult to keep cool during the recent heat wave but staff responded very quickly to our comments. Overall: highly recommended."
Fermain Valley Hotel

"Hotel had great view and breakfast / lunch on the terrace looking down the valley to sea was very nice. Food in all three restaurants was good, although the steak place you cook your own so menu limited and cooking quality down to you. The pool was not available during our stay which was disappointing as it was late May, so not exactly out of season. One or two of parts of the garden (wooden fences giving way) and breakfast room (seats in booths) were beginning to look a little worn. The Tree House experience was very nice - no TV, no real distractions - only odd bit is a the door is a patio window and opens directly onto the walkway for other rooms to/from hotel. The hot tun was also unavailable during out visit."
St Pierre Park Hotel & Golf

"Attractive hotel and garden. Excellent breakfast choice and efficient and friendly breakfast staff. I enjoyed the pool in the spa area and my husband loved the private hot tub on our patio. Our maid/housekeeping attendant was called Navjot, special mention for her efficient and excellent service, she made our stay very comfortable. Nice touch with arrangement of towels etc. Only unfortunate aspect is noise from private events on Fri and Sat in one or two of the ground floor rooms, the music did stop punctually at 11pm or 12mn as previously announced."

Best Western Moores Central Hotel

"Excellent services from staff. Very clean and spacious room with a view of the sea over nearby rooftops. Space is so nice to move around and very relaxing - the restaurant, the terrace and sitting room. Great selection of breakfast food - vegan fry up was very tasty. I can't eat a full breakfast every day so, depending on cost, I often won't book breakfast when I book the accommodation. That leaves me free to book a breakfast directly with a hotel as and when required. On this occasion there was an error in invoicing for breakfast. Hotel resolved their error in my billing very quickly but they need clearer information for guests/and or clarification for staff. A rate of £13 for advance notification or £16.50 for walk-in is, I consider, a reasonable condition. A rate of £13, only if you book breakfast for every day of your stay, is perhaps not as reasonable, but it is understandable if that is their condition. Anyway regardless of invoicing error, I really enjoyed my stay and will most certainly revisit."

"We stayed in the suite, the room was outstanding! Almost a one bed apartment vibe minus the kitchen! Such a lovely room! Staff super friendly and food top notch! We will definitely be coming back, and have been recommending to family and friends ☺️"

"Be aware that although the hotel is walking distance to the bus terminal, it is on a hill, so you need to be reasonably fit if walking up and down. The hotel is close to the harbour and castle. The island bus service is very good for getting around the island and sight seeing. Staff are very helpful and friendly."

"The staff were friendly and helpful, eager to assist with a few small requests I had. I found it be peaceful, I was at the rear of the property, and particularly liked the second door into the room, which I'm shielded me from any hallway activity. Pool was lovely, and breakfast excellent. Friday, live music :-)"
La Trelade Hotel

"Staff very welcoming and helpful - responded swiftly and accurately to everything asked, but the property is tired and requires extensive maintenance. Pool been shut for 2 years and Heath Spa now shut as well. Breakfast was really quite good. Location suited us as was a short walk to event we were attending nearby."
