“Loved the helpfulness of the staff. Food was wonderful great selection on the breakfast buffet and evening meals were also delicious. Very clean rooms and comfortable easy access to bus route. Definitely no complaints excellent value for money July 2026”

“A charming hotel, with a friendly and helpful staff. A good place for a solo traveller. Although, it's a little way out of town, it has a good size car park, a complimentary mini bus service, that goes into town twice in the morning and returns twice a day and a bus stop virtually opposite the entrance. Was glad I was warned about the lack of air conditioning, so I brought a small fan which I needed despite being able to leave the French windows to my balcony open. The choice of hot food at……

“Hotel is all about location - stunning views and ideal for exploring result of beautiful Alderney. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially receptionists. Room well equipped and comfortable - once had window restraints removed (otherwise very hot as no aircon). Noise from people on terrace below, which is understandable but be aware if booking Seaview room, and staff from Divers Bar, owned by hotel, noisily throwing empty bottles into bins after bar shut. Not impressed……

“Fabulous position for the sunsets. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. Main issue was the busy and noisy road at the front of the hotel. Food excellent.”

“Big spacious hotel with good amenities, great breakfast choices and friendly staff. Loved the free use of the spa facilities during our stay. The room furniture is dated and with no room aircon so it can get hot at night but that’s the only criticism.”

“Room was great. Food was good although menu a little limited. Staff were friendly and helpful. Did have issue with fridge that was reported and checked during the stay but wasn't fixed. Overall a good relaxed break.”

“Very helpful , moved our booking too when Condor Ferry cancelled the boat. Great base for cycling and walking around the island. Inn had a room to keep our bikes inside over night . Staff were amazing and went over and above to help. Drifters restaurant ,with the sunset views over the bay offered a wide choice of excellent food. We will be back.”

“It’s just really lovely at Les Douvres, the breakfast is great and the rooms are comfortable. The bar is excellent and the staff are outstanding. If the hot weather continues I think they’ll have to succumb to air conditioning. But other than that brilliant!”
