Misleading
When We booked this house, it was listed for sleeping 10 people. We had 10 people in our reservation. The day we left to start our 14 hour drive down, we noticed that the listing was changed and it said it only slept 8 people. We looked at pics and noticed they removed a bunk bed. We messaged the host and they claimed the owner must have removed them without their knowledge. They offered 2 air mattresses. The air mattresses didn’t fit in the rooms so we had to go buy twin sized ones. Our main issue is that we had this property booked and they changed this without notifying us at all. We spent a good chunk of money for 2 people to have to sleep on air mattresses all week! All of the beds were so hard/uncomfortable. The bottom bunk bed seemed like it was missing supports because the mattress kept sinking down, making it super uncomfortable. The pictures of the outside show 2 levels of outside porch areas, but the top level isn’t accessible for guests. The owners have a “private room” that is locked and that’s the only way to access that porch area. Which was a big bummer! They also have the pantry storage area locked so there’s only one pull out cabinet to store food/snacks in. The bathrooms all have tall tub/showers with sliding glass doors which made it hard for our grandparents to use because there’s no grab bars. The house and decor were very nice! Location was great. Pool was perfect for a couple kids. Appliances all great. Quiet beach.
