Great condo and location

The condo was super clean and spacious. It had a terrific pool and easy access to beach. We really enjoyed the stay and had no problems. We did not have Wi-fi access which was a little bit of a problem since two of us had to work some, but were able to use a hotspot. The owner was quick to reply with different passwords for the Wi-fi but it still didn't work. Other than that, the week was relaxing and wonderful.

Perfect Place!!

weekend stay

Location was great if you want to be central to Gulf Shores. Check in was easy--code was sent and we went right into condo. Beautiful view from living and master. Nice large condo.However, the room was not sufficiently clean, dirty blanket in the master closet, dirty wash rag under master sink, leftover pretzel behind living room curtain. The master tub was broken and unable to use and the grout in the master shower is coming off. This condo is nice but definitely needs better cleaning and new updates in the bath and kitchen. Also, they do not tell you that you are required to get a 50 parking pass when you arrive. That was left off the instructions and luckily we only got a warning ticket and not a tow!There are definite improvements that could be made for this condo rental.

Great location & view!

We enjoyed staying at this spacious condo with a gorgeous view. We even saw dolphins swimming early one morning while eating breakfast on the balcony. The lobby, pool, & walkway to the beach are all super nice. We liked the elevators, buggies, & water hoses on the pier especially. This location is great for walking to the Hangout, etc.

PERFECT

I would recommend this property to anyone going to Gulf Shores. You can not beat the location. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit. The view was beautiful and access to the beach was just a step away. The condo was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked.

Summer getaway

When our cruise was cancelled due to Covid we chose the beach to take our kids on a getaway before school. This condo was perfect. Everything it said it was and the view was amazing. We had 9 people, 4 being children and there was plenty of room. We definitely want to come again!

Nice Vaca get away

We really enjoyed our time at this property . We were disappointed that the master tub was not in working order. The unit does need some TLC....the LR couch is broken down and the mattress in the master needs replaced. The arrangement of rooms was nice and we liked having bunk beds and a separate bathroom for the kids. Great view and decent seating on patio.

Spacious, clean, great location

The location doesn’t get any better than this. We enjoyed the low floor for easy access to the stairs (there was a brief period when only 1 elevator was in use). Well equipped kitchen and spacious rooms - just as pictured. Plus the walk-in closet was useable as a “bedroom” for our toddler. Cons - the master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable and the master bed curtains are very sheer. Bring an eye mask if you don’t want to wake up at dawn.

Living room furniture is not the most comfortable but doable. Updated patio furniture was great. Comfortable king bed

A few issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our stay at San Carlos 505 for the most part. There were a couple issues:-the dryer wouldn’t work until you ran it 3-4 times per load-the mattress cover in the master bedroom had a few bright red blood droplets which didn’t belong to us...kinda gross!-we found a fake fingernail in the living room carpet upon arrival.Other than those issues we had an awesome vacation. Will book again.

Minor issues

The key code box was not working properly and it was over an hour til we could get in. Called twice, spoke to 2 different people who said they would call back and never did. Carpet in Master badly stained, tub in master had hairs in it, not clean. TV in 2nd bedroom Queen, would only get 3 channels, never could get the dish to work. Kitchen has no pot holders.
