Beautiful getaway

This house was a perfect, serene place to spend a long weekend. The kitchen was well-equipped. The pool and beach were a very short walk. The view from the back deck was gorgeous. I wish we had more time to stay! We would definitely book this again.

Convenient access to beach, clean and spacious

Our group consisted of three families with toddlers and pets. The home was very spacious and accommodated us well. The layout is fantastic for multiple families and gave the necessary space for quiet times and naps. As a vacation home, king beds and multiple bathrooms are optimal for comfort and convenience; this home has both. The decorator/designer of this property really put a beach vibe in the home yet maintained a classy feel. The decks on both sides of the house were very refreshing and peaceful. Being that we were there in off season, the neighborhood was very quiet and felt safe. The location is excellent for beach access!! This home does invites pets to stay and we appreciated that. As with any home in this area, they are built up so expect lots of stairs. We brought self standing pet gates to protect the stair areas since we had toddlers. Overall, we highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to rent this one again.

Unbelievable home. Accommodated my entire family and our 3 dogs. Great trip. We will rent again.

Tons of room. Lots of extra touches like the nice grill outside back patio. Pool is 50 yards away. Golf cart that hauls 6 and beach stuff. Awesome place.

A great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Salty Seahorse. We are a large family group (4 couples, 2 kids, 1 infant, 1 20-something) and we had a wonderful stay. The house is very comfortable in accommodating a large group and is well appointed for cooking and family meals. The golf cart was a great addition in helping get our gear and little ones to the beach, which provided lots of family fun. The bay views are beautiful! We hope to stay again.

Family Vacation

The house was wonderful and accommodated all of our needs. There were 10 adults and 1 infant. There was plenty of space. The proximity to the pool and beach were walking distance. Due to the house being located in a gated community, the beach was not extremely crowded so it was peaceful and enjoyable. Overall this was a great experience and one of the best houses we have have rented in Gulf Shores.
