“Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. If you are looking for something off the beaten track, with peace, tranquillity, and amazing Balinese hospitality, this is your place. I stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was very well appointed, full of light and sunshine, and overlooking the jungle trees and nature. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to my every request. I even enjoyed a beautiful floating breakfast in my private pool, which made the experience feel extra……

“This resort was one of, if not, the best resort I’ve been to. The people in Bali are friendly, but the staff at this resort went out of their way to make sure my stay was phenomenal. Nothing was too much bother for them. From initial greeting by the team at reception, to waves and personal greeting of ‘hello’ every time I passed the restaurant, to the housekeeping staff chatting to me at my villa when they came to clean. The villa was beautiful. Well kept, clean, and the gardens and pools were……

“Askari was an absolutely tranquil retreat. The courtesy and kindness of the staff is immediately evident upon arrival. Throughout the resort from housekeeping, restaurant staff and groundskeepers, everyone was always pleasant. They always made an effort to greet you by name. The atmosphere of the resort is magical. The sound of water everywhere is so peaceful. The food was delicious. If you’re looking for a peaceful and tranquil retreat, I would absolutely recommend Askari.”

“This is the worst hotel we stayed at in our years of travel. The staff was nice and attentive but the property is in run-down condition, everything feels dirty and slimy. The worst thing were the rats running freely in and out the kitchen to/from the restaurant area. Two nights into our stay we found ants on the bed. The staff sprayed around and we had to keep spraying every day to keep them away. The doors to the room do not close completely leaving gaps all around and when it was 18° - 19°C……
