Everything looked very clean but there was a fairly strong smell of dogs each time we entered the room so wouldn’t recommend for anyone with pet allergies. The host was very friendly and accommodating on breakfast time although we had to leave prior.

Lovely B&B with great breakfast

Lovely house with well maintained and spacious rooms. Very clean. Service was friendly and efficient. Comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return one day.

Comfortable beds

We were very happy with our room. The bed was so comfortable , the layout was great. I loved that they had 2 chairs and a table in between to watch tv as well as have a tea and coffee with a little biscuit .Free bottled water . They also included little extras like manicure set, toothpicks, toiletries . Bedside tables and lamps on both sides of the bed. We loved our stay , as good as any big hotel. Didn’t get to sample breakfast as we had an early start. Easy parking and easy checkout too.Not sure if it was the owner but the lady that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming and informative . Wed Definitely stay again .

Incredible host. 5* room. Really friendly and helpful. I will definitely return when I next visit this part of Ireland. Easy to find off the main road. Lovely pancake breakfast. Basically...a bargain for what it is!

Amazing B&B

We had an amazing time staying at Church View! The room was comfortable, cozy, and clean! The host was super nice and friendly! The room was facing the street, but it was quiet during the night! We had to sleep with the window open because it was really hot on that day, but it was great! The breakfast was delicious and super fresh! Loved it! I would definitely recommend Church View B&B!

One of the best b/b

Efficient in a rural area convenient for Sligo

After a bit of a mix up with payment in advance everything was as expected. The room was held for us I’m glad to say. A clear system for breakfast, which was helpful and food was nicely cooked to order . The room was spacious and we were able to get BBC on the TV!

Won't be booking there again

Host neither welcoming nor helpful, I needed transportation into the next town and all I got was a card with a phone number and the words 'probably he won't do it because it's a part time taxi and he works early...' Be aware Gurteen is a town where the last bus is at 9 pm, no taxi service and even Uber bailed 5 min before the requested time (23h30) - so a car is an absolute obligation! Regarding the room, I really don't know what laundry detergent is used in this B&B but upon getting into the room the smell was so strong, it gave me a headache, which was a pity since the mattress was quite good... Overall a very disappointing experience.
