On your last day of the cruise you go to the Dark and Bright cave with a local rower and into the lake area.
Cannon Fort, Cat Ba, Vietnam A short hike from Cat Ba Town up a steep hill and you get to Cannon Fort. Built by the Japanese in WWII, it was also used by the French during the Indochina War, and the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Well worth walking around the fort and you also get stunning views from around Cat Ba. #packsandaplan
Ngu Lam, Cat Ba National Park, Vietnam. The View from Ngu Lam Peak in Cat Ba National Park. The National Park is in the center of Cat Ba Island and home's most of the world's most endangered primate, the Golden-Headed Langur, as well as many other species of mammal and birds.
