“The house was designed with beautiful antique furniture. We had everything we needed. It had a small fenced in backyard which was great for our Yorkie. The neighborhood was quiet. It did need some mini maintenance. There was some paint chipping in the one bedroom and wallpaper peeling in the other and the bathroom. But excluding that it is a beautiful home”

“Carlos was a great host - we had a maintenance issue and he had someone out within the hour and great communication all throughout. Perfect size place for us and two dogs and the fenced yard was great. Thank you again Carlos”

“This Loft apartment was very nice. It was roomy. super clean, had nice amenities and was in great proximity to downtown and UNA. We enjoyed the extra touches like live plants, Alexa Echo and coffee pods. Communication with Nathalie and Raven is excellent!! Our overall experience we very good.”

“A fun contemporary comfortable home, with some nice extras like shampoo and laundry starters. Coffee was a nice surprise. Great deck area to just enjoy time outside. Phenomenal whole house Sonos and wifi setup - very well designed. Fun garage turned party room. Close to old town Florence and the river front. Very responsive owner.”

“Very historic part of North Alabama. Enjoyed our week stay in the Purple Mansion. Well supplied and very comfortable bedding. We were a little cold but had some space heaters to help knock off the chill. Overall a very comfortable and rare experience to stay in a historic home. The owners are very happy to help and answer questions”

“Host failed to provide items one would expect and promised to make it right and did not then stopped responding to messages forcing us to go out and buy the missing items. She actually expected 2 people staying 4 nights to make do with 2 washcloths. Said it’s standard to only supply 1 day of linens no matter how many days you are staying. No washer/dryer on the premises so be prepared to bring or buy washcloths & towels along with soap, shampoo, & hair dryer . 4 blocks from Court street but……

“I did not like the air freshener all around. It gave me a headache and felt sick. Mgr kindly disabled them on my floor since I was there all week. Staff very accommodating. Will return. ”

“We stayed for one night. The location was close to good dining. It was also with-in Walking distance to FAME Recording studio and a short drive to the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Florence which were the reason for our trip. I absolutely LOVED the Cotton Field Artwork in the room. The room was clean, comfy & quiet. The front desk was attendant was very friendly and welcoming.”

“The area and some of the other hotel customers, were somewhat sketchy. But I don’t think that is the fault of the hotel. Overall I would probably recommend this place. ”
