“From entering the beautiful stone entrance hall into the great hall we knew we were in for a treat. The Easter decorations were exquisite and fun, the interior design and decor full of history and class showing it’s heritage in full glory. “Delightful stay with incredibly friendly & willing staff,nothing was too much trouble. A mixture of old and new & my room(in the garden block) was spacious,modern & a lovely view from the patio over the cricket pitch & down to the Tyne. Food was very good,I ate in the bar but you can go more formal if you want. Hotel is in an enviable position,just outside Bellingham so access to roads easy. Even an indoor pool. If you like comfort,without formality,I would highly recommend.”
