「Room was excellent with perfect little touches such as a stocked fridge with milk and water, lovely toiletries in a perfectly clean and modern en-suite. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet, but complimentary earplugs available anyway 👏」

Definitely recommend if you're visiting this stunning part of England – they will help with guidance for walks and dark skies star spotting etc. 」

「I was a completely unplanned visitor who trekked the moors at night to reach the Inn. Though the only thing that happened on the moors was fulfilling an American's silly Holmesian fantasy of walking the moors at night, everyone was concerned for my safety and I really appreciated that. My stay was wonderful, the food was really delicious, and everyone with whom I spoke was just up-front and pleasant. I will be back some day and guess where I'll stay?」

A comfortable room (No 6) with all the facilities i required including a spotlessly clean ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice along with prompt, attentive & polite service. The railway station & city centre shops, bars & restaurants are a short stroll away. An enjoyable stay. 」
