“We had a wonderful experience at Motel Long Lake & Cottages! Jennifer and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. Their attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and exceptional service made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. This place is truly a hidden gem in the Adirondacks. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway with people who genuinely care about their guests. We’re already looking forward to returning……

“We had to search out the person to check in. Our room door was wide open and the bed looked disturbed. The room was small and noisy. They couldn't have a fire in the fireplace. They ran out of coffee in the morning and there was no one to talk to about it.”

“Nice place to stay for a quick overnight. Basic amenities but very clean. The owner was very friendly, polite and helpful. The only negative I can recall was the walls are thin and I could hear snoring from the room next door but this was manageable. Otherwise, I nice stay on a memorable trip”

“It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. Antique furniture, pines cones, snowshoes, layered bedding...like in an LLBean catalog. The bed was super comfy. I had a large screen TV and mini fridge in the room. Although there is a……

“He was so kind and it was beautiful”

“The place is nice and cozy. Its ok for travelling, but the price for 1 night is just overrated.”

“This was a nice place to stay for a brief, overnight stay. It was conveniently located in the heart of town and just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Long Lake. The room was a little basic but it did have a super refreshing shower. Would stay again because of the nice staff & convenience factor.”

“打电话给房东，房东不接电话也不回复电话，房间很旧有异味。”

“Very clean and well equipped cabin a short drive to lake. No lake views from cabin.”

“The space was great, the amenities were good, the location was good. Struggled a little with the lock on the door-probably our lack of technology understanding the door lock. Loved the decor. Easy access to the area. Great value for the location.”

“The place is great. Very clean and well kept. The issue is that the water in both the sink and shower is barely a trickle and always just ice cold. My wife got one shower that was almost a little warm, but the warm water only lasted for a minute. We were there for 3 nights”

“Definitely a no frills motel. No air conditioning, the fan in the room didn't work and no TV. We felt the room rate was pretty hefty for what you get. The pool was unusable and the room was quite small. Tried to get the owner to adjust the rate down considerably the above and he was unwilling to do anything. The room was clean but not a great experience.”

“It was a nice place. Super comfortable beds and the bunk bed for the kids is a nice addition. ”

“Super clean and recently updated. A comfortable place crash. Close to the road and kinda in the middle of a parking lot. Not exactly a pretty setting. Probably great in the winter for snowmobilers!”

“The house was clean and neat. It was a good bit smaller than what I expected though. The bedrooms were tiny, each fits a bed but little else. The house itself is old, though some of it has been updated it could use more. The furniture in the sitting room is outdated and a few of the windows can't be opened due to age. For these reasons I would have given it 3 stars. However, the location is great and the outdoor seating under the pergola is so tranquil, makes it feel like you're sitting in the……
