Our family needed a place to stay close to King's Island amusement park (an easy 25 minute drive), but we could never have guessed how much we would love this house and location. The historic home is located on the main street of Hamilton, OH...a town with local hometown heroes on light post banners, delicious restaurants within walking distance, beautiful graffiti art on the sides of old brick buildings, and friendly neighbors waving at us as we sat on the front porch. The home is spacious, easily and comfortably sleeping all 8 adults. Sharing two bathrooms was the only challenge but we worked out the timing, never running out of hot water. We ate out for every meal so we didn't need to use the kitchen for anything, but it was well stocked. A secret we learned quickly is that Hamilton boasts "the world's best water" and that is no lie. Absolutely the cleanest water I've ever (not) tasted. I loved that the house feels updated inside but still has the creaky wood plank floors of a historic home. Sitting on the porch in the morning eating breakfast from the coffee shop next door, to sitting on the porch in the evening eating ice cream from the shop across the street was just an unexpected bonus to our stay. Josh and Lauri have done a wonderful job providing a welcoming and beautiful home. We highly recommend and would definitely return to this property. Just gorgeous.
