“Best way to describe this cozy little place. We've stayed before & will book, again, next time we travel to Clayton. In fact, we won't travel to Clayton unless we can stay here. It's completely charming, close to the Boat Museum, an easy walk to the central shopping/eating area, and a long stone's throw to The River. Communication with the landlady is easy & thorough. Parking is a breeze. All photos posted are accurate & true. It's a charmer!”

“We took a long weekend to so my granddaughter could visit her other grandparents in the area. The home is very well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. We wanted for nothing! We wished it was summer to take advantage of the lake amenities. We will definitely visit again.”

“Everything about the house was amazing! We don’t own a boat so the owners provided us with a few local options, we chose Wagoner’s Marina. It was was easy to get to and the process there was smooth. Parked our car, loaded the boat and headed out to the island. The ride was about 5 minutes and easy to navigate. On arrival the owner greeted us and took our luggage right back to the house for us. The house was beautiful inside and out. We were there as a family and used all 3 rooms and can……

“Beautiful property and place to stay. Everything is provided…all you need is your clothes! Kids loved the kayaks and we all enjoyed outdoor fire pit. The cottage is bigger than it looks from the outside and is appointed very well. We cooked all of our meals there and enjoyed eating on the back porch. The owner was excellent to work with and we have zero complaints. Definitely would recommend!”

“Nice place to stay. It's a couple of blocks from the center of town and quite a walk but you can drive into town quite easily. Just hard to find parking in town during the busy season”

“Beautiful little cottage with fabulous decor that makes you feel like your in a luxury hotel! Comfortable beds, gorgeous linens and towels, etc. They've thought of everything you'll need for a nice lake adventure: from kayaks, chairs for the campfire, outdoor lounging and eating, charcoal grills, a beautiful sturdy dock for a boat and stable decking among the rocky ledges. We had one small drain issue with the shower, but the hosts were very responsive and sent someone out to fix it the next……

“We booked this house for our guys annual fishing trip and we all had a great time. The location of the house to the boat ramp, bars and restaurants was perfect and the ability to dock the boats at the house was really convenient. The owner of the house was super thoughtful and welcomed our group with a "welcome basket" of goodies to start our trip right. Very clean, comfy and plenty of amenities. We'll definitely be back! “This is our second year visiting the same house. It feels like a home away from home. The owners make it so easy for check in. Both times it was ready early. The view is so beautiful of the river. Town is within walking distance. We love it and we will be back again next year. We have gone in September and October but Boldt castle is closed after Columbus Day. Loved it bith times tbough.”

“We had the luxury of being the 1st people into the house following the kitchen and bathroom renovations. They did an excellent work on the renovations. We enjoyed watching the ships pass-by read books by the fire and cook in the new kitchen. Kids enjoyed playing on the hill and the beach, even with the River temp near freezing.”

“Stunning property & marina on the St Lawrence Seaway. Clean & efficient units on large & spacious grounds. Spectacular views & scenery abound. The owners were easily accessible & friendly. Our unit was as advertised, with Dish Network TV, gas fireplace, all new exterior & interior. Spacious bathroom, fabulous shower, plentiful towels & washcloths. Kitchen was well appointed, outside grill & firepit with plenty of firewood & kindling. Beautifully decorated grounds added to the total experience.……

“We had a great stay at this house. The home had all we needed for our 6 day stay. Plenty of beds and chill space for everyone. The location and river access were great. It is a hike to get to the river but we were aware of that from the property details. We visited off season so we weren’t getting in the water but it would have been perfect water access if it were summer. Ed and Karina were attentive and responsive but we had no issues. We would certainly book again!! Thanks so much!!”
