「Staff very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them.Room was spotless.Ate in the restaurant,very enjoyable.」

「Very basic hotel, check in was very limited with no info on hotel dining or other facilities. Not shown to the room and found no hand soap in bathroom. There was shower gel and shampoo. The room overlooked outside drinking and smoking area and could smell smoke if window open. All furniture was old and some pieces had been mended. Floor boards loose in some places. Admittedly the building is old and has character, but TLC required. 」

「Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked!」

「Overall, this was a great stay, Positives; 1 - Great breakfast options, including a full english. 2 - A very welcoming and friendly host. 3 - Light and airy room, with good shower facility. 4 - Tea/coffee making facility in room. 5 - Nice farm with Cows and Goats on site. Handful of negatives (*2nd one i was warned about by the host, but it could do with improving for future stays); 1 - Mattress was a little on the stiff side. 「Yes the room was ok , the television wasn't working altough the manager let me watch the tv in the room next door as it was unoccupied also I couldnt lock the door from the outside 」

「Great except for one thing - they were closed from 3 to 5 in the afternoon with no way of getting a key to our room. It would be useful if they could devise a system so that keys are available in this critical time in the afternoon so that people can gain access to their room and relax before the facilities open at 5 PM. Other than the above, all was excellent. 」
