Perfect!

This property was even better than the photos! Me, my husband, two teens, and a tween all stayed and it was perfect. Location was great! I was really worried about there not being ac in the livingroom and it was no problem at all! And the AC in the bedrooms worked great. Check in and check out was easy and property manager was so helpful. We would definitely recommend!! Thank you for everything!

As presented, but may i suggest...

we were looking at the last minute in the high season, so my choices were limited. Having said that, Brook was very nice to deal with, the photos were accurate, the kitchen was well equipped, it was clean, lovely location--and i loved having the open pastures on the uphill side of the road. However, I probably would require one of two things to rent this property again: Either comfortably finish furnishing it, or lower the price point to be competitive with the more budget properties in the area. The bedrooms each had one night table and lamp, two would be the norm, especially for king room. And there was not one other furnishing in bedrooms--a table, chair or dresser to put your things on. The living room did not even have a lamp or end table( and the TV they stated was coming a month ago was not there, not that we cared or expected it). And that furniture was too uncomfortable to even sit on! There still was no curtain on the other front room window(we put up a sheet). And the tub/tile still needs a good cleaning(how about a nice shower curtain over the shower liner?). Some pictures or more "decor" would be nice, though not as necessary. So, again, it was accurately portrayed, but those would be my honest assessments--lower price or better and more complete furnishing!

For Hana, this was a great find. AC in both bedrooms. Nice porch with a great view. Full kitchen. Modern rain shower was great after the long drive. Check and out was easy.

Relaxing trip to Hana

We had a really nice stay at the Hana Bay View. The property had a really updated bathroom and good kitchen appliances. The covered deck was the best for winding down in the evening after all of our fun hiking and beach excursions! The AC in the bedrooms was a huge bonus. I highly recommend this place.

Oasis in the Jungle

My family and I stayed in both the up and downstairs. The unit is well appointed and very comfortable. Close to town. If you love Hana, you'll love it here

Great Location in Hana

Really enjoyed our stay in Hana. The home was very comfortable and centrally located. Loved hanging out on the lanai as the weather changed every 15 minutes. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Hana Home stay

We were evacuated from our condo in Kaanapali during the Lahaina fires. We could not find accommodations anywhere in the island driving into Kahului area. We had 2 nights stay in this house in Hana. The property manager was kind and helpful. She accommodated us downstairs which is usually for family until our unit was ready to occupy. They had guests staying there. We had a peaceful rest of our vacation and extremely thankful. Our prayers for the safety of the residents of Maui.

The place met our needs but we weren't aware of the neighboring huge cow pasture with loudly Mooing cows that don't smell the greatest. The road noise was and cow noise wasn't a problem with the windows closed. There were a fair amount of bugs-I know its Hana, so we weren't worried about it.

Good AC, not sure the towels were washed

There is not too much to choose from in this area and the condo was fine for our brief stay with 2 exceptions. One good thing is there was an AC unit in each of the bedrooms which was wonderful compared to other places we stayed during our trip. But I had two concerns during my stay. First, there were too many tiny bugs in the condo. I suppose it is expected in the tropical area (based on the owners comments about “critters” in their instructions) but was not something I was comfortable with. Also, not exactly crazy about lizards climbing the interior walls (happened twice). The most concerning thing was when I went to use a towel, there was a questionable dried stain on it and I noticed that the other towel from the bottom rack I pulled it from was folded in half rather than trifold. We did not use either of the towels from that rack because I am pretty sure they had not been washed between tenants. Ew. Overall, it was adequate but I would not stay again for those 2 reasons.

Beautiful home, beautiful town!

We only stayed two short nights, but after a long drive on the Road to Hana, we were so glad to have a clean, cozy, convenient home to pile into and rest from the travel. It had all the necessities, including AC in the two bedrooms. The balcony was amazing to sit and watch the rain roll in each day, and the breezes helped keep the rest of the home cool. The kitchen was well-stocked and we even used the dryer (outside) to quickly dry our wet suits and towels. Parking was just fine for our single vehicle, and access was perfect. Some have said the main road location caused a bit of noise, but we didn't notice it at night, only in the day, which didn't bother us, as we were only there for short periods of time between stops. The TV (streaming) and internet worked well, the ceiling fans rattled a bit, and the bugs came out at night if you left food around (so don't!). We would stay here again if we decided to do Hana next time!

Clean and cozy cottage-feel made this the perfect accomodation for my family of 4. All of the rooms were spacious and well kept. The kitchen and bath had provisions for all of our needs. The grounds were well kept, quiet and private.

Hana HWY

My husband and I enjoyed our stay over the weekend with our two boys. The place was great and spacious. Loved hanging out on the patio. The walk to the beach was easy and the town was pretty quiet. Loved listening to the birds in the morning and at night.

Loved our visit!

After our first Road to Hana trip we knew we wanted to spend more time at that end of the island. This was a great spot to do that. It sits right on Hana Highway so there is some traffic noise as others have commented on, but we did not find it bothersome. We enjoyed the fact that it’s very residential. We loved that we could explore the Hana area over the course of a couple days instead of just rushing through. We spent an entire afternoon at Wainapanapa State Park (we each made a reservation so we had 5 hours). We spent part of the next day hiking at the Pools of Ohe’o (Seven Sacred Pools). PS: If you go there don’t plan on swimming in the pools, you probably won’t get to but the hike is fabulous! Hamao Beach is wonderful! We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again!

Great Location

This was the perfect location for our stay in Hana. Close to everything we wanted to see and do. The home was stocked with everything we needed, and it was wonderful to be able to have meals out on the deck/lanai. We even had a full rainbow the last morning we were there.

This property was right next to the Hana Highway

I knew the address was on the Hana Highway but did not realize that it was within15 feet of the road from our bedroom window. Traffic was minimal in the night but started up steady around 5 am and went throughout the day. None of the reviews mentioned this. The beds were in terrible shape.
