"Everything was great"

"A gem of a place in a special town! Super clean room (even under the bed!). Due to the nature of the landscape (rocks) there are a lot of steps to get to room, pool, breakfast, into the property. Most parking is covered. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We look forward to staying again."

"Great venue for our group of 14 to eat and enjoy time together in the common area, well supplied kitchen for a large group. Our group ranged in age from 3moths to 62. Heads up there are stairs to access the unit. Loved the architecture/design that carried throughout. Kids enjoyed hanging out down at the Portage. Well situated for CC cruising or houghton/hancock. Host was great, responsive. We were here to celebrate an MTU graduation. We would be back whenever we have a large group."

Communication was excellent and the check in process was easy. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay for our son’s graduation from Michigan Tech!"
