“What a great place to stay! The house has a stunning view of the water and very peaceful setting . The location is a short drive to Acadia. Very easy instructions for access and the house is spotless. The beds were comfortable which was much appreciated after hiking all day. Our stay made our trip with our adult children memorable. Nicely and thoughtfully appointed. We will return!!!”

“Beautiful property on a crystal clear lake. Despite being dog-friendly, there were no signs or smells of dogs haven been there. Place was very clean and tidy. Kitchen was well-stocked. Couches were comfy. Nice outdoor seating areas. Close to Ellsworth restaurants, fairly close to Bar Harbor. Went in latter half of October, happy to still see the beautiful colors of fall. Only one small recommendation, update listing to include when dock is removed for the season. Really enjoyed the comfort and……

“I loved it! I used this as a base camp to go hiking in Acadia NP, and it was perfect for that, but I also could have spent my entire two days at the property and been very content. As it was, I slept deeply on my air mattress in the loft and watched the beautiful sunrises while sitting at the shore and while eating breakfast at the table inside. On the second morning, I also explored the entire lake with the host's canoe. It was quiet and serene, listening to a pair of loons that I was able to……

“Wonderful little cottage on the shore of a pond near Acadia National Park.The cottage is well equipped with everything necessary for short stays and it is very cozy and comfortable, up to 5 people. Furnitures are not new, but everything works and gives the feeling of being out in the Woods. The location is amazing and it allows to great dawns and sunsets on the pond.Ideal for lazy days, we would absolutely recommend it. ”
