“We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. We were sad we only stayed one night. The driveway is a bit steep and not paved. Our SUV handled it fine but a smaller car may have a bit of……

“This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. There was more than enough space for our family of three, and room for a few more if needed. The pond was great for swimming and taking out the canoe. The house was well appointed and lovingly maintained with just the necessities needed for our week long stay. The location was in close proximity to Camden (10-15 minute drive), and a lot of other must see destinations in Maine (Acadia, Bar Harbor, etc) are within 60-90 minutes. There was a sailing……

“Loved the privacy and location of this house. It was perfect for us and our son who stayed with us for several days. The outdoor space was enjoyable for dining and lawn games. Loved early morning walks on the Rail Path and sunny afternoons on the dock. Only a short walk to downtown Belfast for shopping and eating. Enjoyed a day trip to Fort Knox and the Bridge tower and to Camden.”

“We had a fantastic time at this property! The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed, even coffee. Vince gave us a tour and let us know everything we needed to know when we arrived. The kayaking was amazing. We got so close to bald eagles it was breathtaking, we were simply awed. We saw eagles, osprey, herons and so much wildlife. Vince and Sandy were absolutely wonderful hosts, so friendly, accessible and helpful. They even took us out on the boat one evening for a tour of the lake and……

“Our family of 5 had a wonderful week at Uptacamp— Norton Pond is beautiful for swimming and kayaking, the location is a great jumping off point for exploring the Midcoast area, and the cabin is comfy with plenty of space to hang out outside. Robert and his wife are terrific and responsive hosts. We hope to return! ”
