“Start with the staff: they are fabulous! Your stay begins with a tour of the property - which is located in 3 adjoining buildings. Staff assisted us with parking, which is tricky. You park in a gas station about 8 minutes by foot from the property. She rode with us and spoke to the gas station manager on our behalf. Be mindful that this hotel is in the historic Medina - you can’t drive up to it. We had initially parked on a street 2 bocks outside the city walls. We then moved it to the gas……

“This hotel is very lgbt friendly. I had to flee another hotel due to homophobia and bigotry and the Hotel Sousseana was an excellent replacement and a safe haven too . Very friendly reception staff who were knowledgeable about the local area and respected my pronouns as a non binary person.
