"My wife and I just returned home from our stay at the Princess Mangrove on the adult side. We stayed from 10/6 to 10/12. The reason was to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. I can honestly say the resort is well worth visiting. Upon our arrival we were met with a warm greeting, offered a cold towel and cocktail. As we checked in, I mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary. That night the resort surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a nice dessert with a congrats message.
We started our stay in a standard room but upgrade to a swim out room in Building 1 after the 1st day. Room 1112 was the room we were given. It did not disappoint. The pools are all infinity and are beautifully lit at night. I highly recommend a swim out room if you can swing it.
The resort, grounds and beach are all amazing. Although the building does show some sings of wear for a new structure. You can tell the staff takes pride in maintaining the property. I was impressed by the gym and felt the equipment was top notch.
I felt the food was really good and well presented at the restaurants. We dined at the Pearl, Robert's Flame(shout out to Troy), IL Palazzo and Umami. We found all to be great. The buffet in the morning for breakfast provided plenty of options. I really enjoyed the coffee/ice cream shop as well.
My wife and I made it a point to interact with the staff and the "love" was returned.
We look forward to visiting again some day soon!
