“Resort was nice and there was always something to do. The bar is always packed but they move fast and the employees know how to have fun. The food was really good and had a big variety. The people are friendly and I would definitely be back!”

“The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. You can tell it’s very well kept. Some improvements that could have made my experience better would be: - support with luggage - elevators for guest especially when on top floor - pool hours longer - layout of property(we stayed in last building and it took 10 min just to get food - room service or guest be permitted to bring food to room I will not return though. I’ve stayed at Riu in other countries and this wasn’t a pleasant experience”

“The property was average overall, nothing particularly stood out, but it met the basic expectations for a comfortable stay. The rooms and common areas were clean, which was appreciated. The food was enjoyable. The property itself is quite small and has an older feel, lacking the modern amenities and updated décor found in newer hotels. The staff were generally pleasant and courteous.”

“My issue begins and ends with the room. Our first room smelled heavily of bleach & with my hubby’s sinus's and allergies that wasn’t going to work. We were given a new room finally ( which was a total ordeal) and it seemed to be ok the first night. The next day is when we noticed everything seemed damp.. the sheets.. towels.. toilet paper..our clothes everything was damp. Then came the smell.. the mildew/mold smell for the duration of our stay. I dreaded being in the room. Ot was the most……

“The room doors needed to be fix the wind blows the door all night like if someone was trying to get in room, Also no ventilation in the bathroom, basically there rooms need a upgrade..”

“Family of 4 staying for a week, the resort and staff were perfect. This stretch of ocean at Bloody Bay is a dream. The Blue tents were a fun experience where we bought a few local crafts. The walk to the sister resort RIU Negril was easy and a nice plus to be able to use 2 resorts. The food was great all week at the buffet, and the specialty restaurants didn’t disappoint. 10/10.”

“The pictures and advertisements of the property do not match the reality of the property. We had to ask for wash clothes. It took 10 minutes for the water to turn hot. Also, I was only there 3 nights and initially, the toilet was slow to flush, by the 2nd night, I had to ask for a plunger because the toilet was stopped up. They never had any hot cocoa which was on the menu. The views were amazing though. That was the best part about the stay.”

“We just spent our 25th anniversary week at The Palms and had a great time. The resort is stunning and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The treehouses are so adorable and clean. The bed was super comfortable, the pillows weren’t the best, but nothing is like my own pillow! Housekeeping did a great job everyday cleaning and restocking towels and our mini fridge. The food was always good, breakfast was the best meal everyday. Dinner became very redundant for 7 days. We did thoroughly enjoy our……

“The entire resort was absolutely beautiful. It did have a slight smell and I’m sure it was from the hall carpet from hurricane. Best part about that is my last day there they were closing to remodel. My husband and I are waiting for the opening to book next year.”
