“All prefect except Water pressure is not very strong for shower”

“Probably due to limitations of the vertical movement of the elevators, we , staying at the lower level, took ages to get to the front desk to check out.”

“The hotel is old, but nice. Staff are helpful. However, bathroom ventilation fan can be cleaned. And the room could be brighter.”

“It was perfect for what we were after. A night in Southampton before getting an early ferry. Location for that. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Really helped make the stay. Only thing we would change would be a fan in the room, as widows didn't open much to get air flow. That said it was one of the hottest nights of the year. ”

“No one at the front desk. A sign that says” check in at 3pm”. No air-conditioning during the hottest summer in the UK, June 2026. No safe, no phone or refrigerator in the room. They have water kettle and provide coffee packets & sugar. No cleaning or servicing the room unless you ask for it. I asked for it, they did it one day and I had to go down again to tell them because they didn’t clean it the second day of our stay. Bathroom has one bottle of something to wash your body and hair. “Horrendous. Oven was so dirty it couldn't be used. Room has one mug, one towel, one pillow - two of us staying. Dirty sponges left at the sink, clearly used multiple times. Bed was horrific, worst mattress I've ever slept on, very old, bed falling apart, not even a full size double. Husband and I are very average in size I had to try and sleep either end of the bed - didn't help due to the noise of other residents all night. Fridge not cleaned, food still in there from last person.Young men……

“This was very budget but the price reflects that. Good vfm. Only problem was landing light not working and the bathroom light also not working. ”

“Building site, semi naked men drinking and lighting bonfires in the car park, litter everywhere! After waiting nearly 2hrs in 30° heat to get in our room, we booked elsewhere”

“Do not stay. No staff in property. Got passcode for a room that's different from my booking. Property was dirty and the room had someone else living there. I met people that rent one of the room for months (which was the room I was booked for), and told me the other room (that I got passcode for) also has a person living there for months. I had to find a different place to sleep urgently, and I'm trying to get refund.”

“Boiler not working hence no heating or hot water, could not have a shower and had to buy a bowl just to wash. Squatters sleeping on the sofas in the living room every night. Worst accomodation I have ever been in.”
