“The unit was more than I expected. The cabin was furnished with comfortable seating indoors, a full kitchen, TV, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with a hot shower, and more. I will definitely be booking this place again for another getaway.”

“Hot tub was clean but way too much chlorine.”

“It is a very peaceful environment. Walking the property offers opportunities for quiet reflection , as does simply sitting on the porch overlooking the river.”

“Pros: quiet little cabin, tucked just inside from a street. Clean & cozy. Cons 1. Mattress: It was too soft & saggy in the middle. Another reviewer mentioned this too. I wasn't able to get a restful night's sleep. Either my knees or neck would be sore in the mornings 2. Not enough brightness / lights: The interior feels dark - with an okay ceiling light, where 1-2 if the bulbs would slowly go dim as tine went on. Kitchen light was brigther.”

“Definitely will come back A+++ . Hot tub was perfect but definitely needs a umbrella for day time soaks. Shawnee is a beautiful place to relax with Nature.”

“Cabin was exactly as described on the website. Great hiking less than 10mins away. An ideal location to say the least.”

“The house is perfect for a secluded getaway. Our group had a great time. We spent most of our time outside in the pool and hot tub. The host, Jessica, made communication easy also.”

“We came down for my Daughter’s wedding in the Shawnee Forest and couldn’t have found a better place! The cabin is clean, beautiful, spacious enough for all our family members to get ready, many available sleeping areas, and peaceful relaxing views from the deck and porch. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back for just a getaway, absolutely loved it!”
