「Room very basic, tired, dated. Smelt like strong bleach. Furniture scuffed. No wardrobe or drawers for clothes. Shower was hot and powerful though」

「We had a fabulous night's stay. Our only issue was that the roll-top bath was a little to high for us oldies to climb over to get to the shower.」

「The whole unit was exactly as described and expected. Self contained with kettle, fridge and microwave(bonus!). Lovely quiet village area. Very comfortable bed and great ensuite bathroom with excellent and powerful shower cubicle. An optional help yourself breakfast facility is a new concept which we didnt use this time, but thought a great idea. We would definitely stay again as the price is very competitive. One small suggestion would be for a choice of some deeper pillows maybe?」

「This hotel is one of the Old English Inns. Very vintage style, clean, and comfort. If you want to try some typical English countryside, it is. The location may not suit for those don't drive.」

Great food and drinks at reasonable prices and both our evening meals and breakfast very high quality. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. 」
