“We just got home on Friday from a wonderful week at Hillrise and what a week it was. First of all the house was spotless when we entered and and some home grown strawberries, cream and home made fudge was left for us, which was a lovely gesture. There is plenty of parking but be careful when reversing in as it's a bit tight, especially when some inconsiderate person kept parking their car opposite the driveway when there was loads of space for them to park a few yards back. The location of the……

“Lovely, well maintained cottage. Great south facing garden, sheltered from the north west winds. Well equipped with kitchen equipment and blankets for snuggling under in the living room. Great location as you can walk almost everywhere you need to go. We will come again.”

“The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property……

“Fabulous stay , will definitely be back”

“Gorgeous property in excellent location just steps from the harbour and heart of Port Isaac. Lovely furnishings and touches throughout. Would absolutely stay again!”

“We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at High Cove! The location is fantastic—it is wonderfully quiet, family-friendly, and offers easy access to the North Cornwall countryside while serving as a great base to explore the rest of Cornwall. The only minor downside for us was finding the exact holiday home within the park, as the instructions weren't quite clear. Since it was our first time there, it would have been really helpful to have clearer identification or a small map pointing to the exact……

“A nice caravan in a vary large caravan park on the eastern edge of Newquay. The photo on VRBO has used a little artistic licence - it is surrounded by other caravans. However everything else is as listed. Slightly confusing information on arrival - telling us there is complimentary food etc to use but then saying we will be charged for what we use. It's either complimentary or it's chargeable. A clean caravan, facilities as listed. I would stay again if in the area.”

“Very happy to have off street parking. Bus stop just outside property so chose to do bus trip to Padstow - this bus goes to Bodmin Parkway should you choose to travel by train to Bodmin. Nice and spacious to spread ourselves out. A few great pubs and main High St walking distance. Would stay again.”

“The cottage was really lovely and had everything we needed for a quiet weekend away. Conni was really kind and helped us check in later than planned due to traffic and made delicious scones for us. The cottage was clean and well maintained and we really enjoyed staying.”

“Delightful cosy defo return”
