“Enjoyed a weekend away in Davis, WV. Was a ladies getaway to get out and hike and see some waterfalls and we did! The condo at Beaver Ridge was in the perfect location to all the spots to explore. Easily accessible and enjoyed the two bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. The kitchen held all we needed. And the porch was lovely in the mornings as we drank our coffee. We loved the selection of books and puzzles for the evening hours.”

“This is nice little home within walking distance of the Timberline slopes and lodge. Very convenient. The host has done a few things to make your stay even more convenient. “Our family of four stayed with another family of four and found the townhouse clean and comfortable. Dining table only seats 6 but we pulled up two of the bar stools for family game night with no problem. Drive to Timberline for skiing was very convenient, and local restaurants were easily accessible as well. Kitchen had all necessary items (though could use one or two more pans) and all appliances, heaters, fireplace, etc. worked well. Plenty of closet space for storage of ski clothing, and……

“This room was an incredible value and was spotless when we arrived. Cameron, the property owner was very responsive, and check in was very easy. The room has a great view of Timberline when it's lit up at night. It's only about 10 minutes from Davis and the slopes. The Jacuzzi was great after a day of skiing. Will definitely be staying here next time we're in Canaan Valley. One warning though: make sure you have AWD/4WD if you're going up during significant snowfall, because the road down to……

“We enjoyed our four-day stay at Timberline. Although we didn't have a chance to meet with a property manager, we thought our place was well-maintained and clean. It's close to Seneca Rocks (our primary destination), Dolly Sods, Smoke Hole Cavern, and Blackwater Falls. Since the property has a kitchen, a laundry facility, a grill, and a brazier, it's better than staying at a hotel. We recommend this property for a family. One caveat is that the attic was too warm to sleep comfortably. I wonder……

“Overall this property was nice. It is very convenient to walk to the slopes (100 yard walk). Reserved parking spaces makes it very easy to upload your belongings. Place was generally very clean with the exception of a few pots that needed to be cleaned prior to cooking and the ceiling fan in the bedroom was caked with dust so we were unable to turn on the fan to get air circulating. However, all in all I would definitely stay here again.”

“Great mountain getaway property. It was cozy and had all the furnishings we needed for a long weekend. The pet friendly unit was perfect to take our dog and we were very comfortable. The layout with the kitchen connected to cozy living room eith fireplace was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. Others have mentioned the toilet not flushing properly which was a concern, but as long as we held the handle down longer it wasn't a big problem. Having to take the trash down the road to the office……

“Spotlessly clean, close to many winter activities. Kitchen stocked with all the necessities including coffee filters, dish soap, dishwasher detergent and towels. Firewood on the condo porch, as well as wood available at management office was wet from snow, so buy it from inside the Stop n Save.”

“Two families of 4 stayed for 3 nights while skiing at Canaan Valley. The townhouse was well stocked and had plenty of room for us to spread out. The fireplace was a welcome addition after skiing all day. A baseboard heaters were not working and we called maintenance who responded promptly and fixed it in no time. Upstairs there are two bathrooms for 4 bedrooms to share and another downstairs. There are two separate living spaces as well. The only hiccup we had was parking. We had two vehicles……

“This property needs a good cleaning and updating. Although they have updated few items. Not sure if its the water or just age of dishes but everything has a hazy film on it. Bed spread was stained or needed washed. Not sure what was splattered on the master bedroom wall - noticed while turning on lamp.”

“Our stay went well. The condo was a bit outdated, but it was clean and was fine for us. Everything we needed was in the condo. The Kuerig coffeemaker did leak, but there was a Mr. Coffee, so we were fine. The only thing i would change, qould be the AC. We could not get the temp below 74. It was not unbearable, but it was warmee than we wanted.”

“The house is in a great location to visit all the attractions in the area of the Canaan Valley of West Virginia. If you like hiking there are plenty of trails nearby. The house is pleasant, comfortable and well equipped. The owners Laurie and Chip are next door if you need any assistance. The mountain views are spectacular!”
