“Fishing/Lake: There is absolutely no access to the lake, including the community beach. No swimming. No fishing. Such details must be in the property's details in caps. Fishing or swimming is not allowed. Water: Smelly brown water in the house. You can’t drink it or cook with it or even take a shower. It is disguising. No heads-up about the water issue. Kitchen: The smell of dirty dishes welcomed us. It looks like the previous renters left them there. Only 4 forks and 1 knife in the house.……

“The house sits high up on the hill with a big deck overlooking the lake. Viewing the lake with coffee in AM, watching the lake activity during day and seeing the moon and lights across the water with a glass of wine at night was lovely. The lake in front of the house is a no wake zone which affords a calmer setting which was really nice. The owner lives in the area and was quickly attentive to answer questions and resolve any small issues that came up. Highly recommend this home.”

“We loved our stay at this property. Born and raised in Hopatcong, could not have asked for a better spot to make our central hub for a family vacation/visit for a wedding and catching up with old friends. The house overall was updated, spacious and suited our needs for 3 families, and friends who came in and out for a home base of our special occasion. Kitchen had everything we needed, nice laundry area, bathrooms even had essentials. Bedrooms had SO much space, and the primary room I used had……

“I brought my kids on vacation to the American Dream Mall and this property was less than 25 minutes away. Place was very nice and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Tv's both had a ton of apps to stream on. My only suggestion is that maybe more towels and wash cloths could be left.”

“The house is so beautiful and comfy. The views are amazing and we loved the little farmers market near us. The host are so nice and helpful. They answer any questions you have about the neighborhood. We love taking pictures of the sunsets and moon. My family and friends loved it. ”

“This house was decently located for visiting family. It was well kept and tidy and suited our needs for traveling with a group. Plenty of space and parking, and the beds are comfortable. If you usually have a morning coffee, note that the coffee maker is a keurig so you’ll need to plan accordingly or just go to the coffee shop about a 10 minute walk away.”
