The Cathedral and Bishops Palace often play host to music festivals, craft and art exhibitions throughout the year; the nearest beach is Caerfai Beach, Whitesands, should not be missed, popular with families as well as surfers both beginners and professionals alike.The best way to explore this stunning coastline must be on foot, take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to really appreciate its beauty, exploring its hidden coves and inlets with a number of picturesque fishing villages including Solva, Porthgain, Abercastle and Abereiddy with its Blue Lagoon, you can always take advantage of the Puffin Shuttle to catch a lift back. Take a boat trip from St Justinians to sail round the islands of Skomer and Ramsey, or land at Ramsey to walk around this bird and wildlife sanctuary, visit in September to marvel at the seal pups; keen golfers can enjoy a round at the St Davids Golf Course, it offers some of the best sea views.
