Even though the place doesn't have air conditioning it was comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the outside shower was amazing. 」

「Nicely furnished, cozy studio bungalow in a beautiful, secluded garden setting. Nicely equipped kitchenette, relaxing seating area, and comfortable bed. Walk-in, open shower is impressive. Easy check-in, parking right in front, good communication with host. Fell asleep to frogs croaking and woke up to birds chirping. Wonderful stay!」

「Lehua looked great in the add and was far better in person. We loved our stay-and seriously considered asking if we could stay longer. “LLC” had everything we needed and more-we were able to cook all our meals in a delightfully comfortable setting. Coqui frogs, though invasive, were a lovely treat to fall asleep to at night. We were unbelievably close to Volcanoes NP, for the fountaining lava and close enough to summit Mauna Kea! 「This spot was awesome! The neighborhood didn’t have a great reputation with the locals but we honestly had no problems at all staying on this part of the island. The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed and even offered lots of really great recommendations for things to do while we were there. There isn’t a lot in the way of shops nearby, but they do have the essentials– a quick mart, gas, and even a pizza place. Very quiet and the stars at night are unmatched. The yurt...

「This cottage was perfect for us!」

「The house is really nice, and private. It's very clean and comfortable. The sounds of the frogs and others is very loud at night so bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noises at night. 」

「Wonderful cottage in nice location. Very well maintained with all the amenities you need and superb attention to detail in the decor. The sounds of the coqui frogs at night took some getting used to but also made for a memorable experience.」

「We stayed 12 nights and absolutely loved it! Puako is a hidden gem on the Big Island. The house was so comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of the birds each morning, seeing all the geckos, and looking out for other wildlife (mongooses, wild pigs, etc). We were just a short walk from the ocean and tons of world class snorkeling. We also spent a lot of time at nearby Waialea Beach (also amazing).
