“This cottage is so cute and cozy! Clean and convenient. Lovingly maintained by the owner who lives on the property. Super quiet spot hidden in the rainforest neighborhood. Loved the rain on the roof at night. It is located only minutes away from the national park so we could go into town for dinner and then go back into the NP at night to see the sunset and the lava flow glow. The town of Volcano is super small with limited groceries available, but there are some really good restaurants right……

“Everything was amazing! Laurel was so helpful and kind, I loved staying at her cute and cozy place❤️ We got a very thoughtful tray of local fruits from her and a home-baked banana bread which I thought was very cool.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect for visiting the Volcano National Park. It literally was just a 5 minute drive to the park entrance so we were able to drive into the park on the night of our stay to see the venting from the volcano. The unit itself was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed. And it was certainly an immersive experience being in the middle of the rainforest. I would 100% recommend a stay here and would love to visit it again……

“Sitting on the porch listening to the rain and having the tree frogs sing me to sleep were the highlights. For future travelers, any noise is distant noise from a neighborhood but only during the day. When it’s raining it can get cool at night. I found that the upstairs was dryer than the bottom floor so what clothes I had that were damp dried faster. The bed is very comfortable. It was hard to leave to explore during the day because it was so peaceful sitting outside drinking coffee listening……
