"Absolutely fantastic"

"My sister paid for my room which was lovely. It was less expensive than another hotel by the ocean and much nicer. They even had a laundry room, free water refills with ice. The staff was very nice and helpful. When it was time for me to leave the front desk called a taxi which came within 5 minutes and it was 4 a.m. in the morning with a very nice driver straight to the airport, no traffic at that hour. There is an ABC little market a block away which I went to to get hard boiled eggs, blueberries, papaya, pineapple, bottled water, macadamia nuts, and some lemon rosemary sea salt, plus a lemon. They had T-shirts, towels, and gifts, too. When I needed extra towels the cleaning lady came right in and replaced them, vacuumed, and emptied the trash. I did laundry and paid with my credit card. There are many restaurants around the Ramada, but the best one was the Italian Frescas near the ocean across the street and it was just delicious chicken parmesan. We were there for a wedding and our whole family and friends enjoyed it in between swimming and we even got an outrigger canoe ride in front of the Outrigger Hotel on Waikiki. The Ramada is economical and lovely!"

OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort

"This was our first trip to Hawai’i and we were so glad we chose the Outrigger Reef Waikiki! I first want to mention the Hawaiian music from local artists that occurred in the Kani Ka Pila Grill, the front bar and restaurant area. You could sit at a table or the bar area to listen or also enjoy the music from the beautiful pool area. The other restaurant, Monkeypod Kitchen, also had live music daily, as well as delicious food and Mai Tais. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is located right on the beach. Everyday there are cultural activities available, such as bamboo print making, that you can try out if you would like. Choosing this hotel made our stay in Oahu perfect and we’re so glad we did!"

"The room didn’t look renovated but it was clean and traditional. The resort itself offered a lot of amenities and was gorgeous. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. They do make you pay for parking which is annoying but it was like 12$/a day.The resort was beautiful and i really enjoyed the pools. You also have to pay for access to the gym (7$/a day)…..also annoying. They offer a lot of information about the island and fun things to do. All in all, I enjoyed my stay!"
