“Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky.
The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands”

“we were put in a top floor room in the school masters house which unfortunately was closest to the main room which could noisy at times. Breakfast was good altho there seem better options on Saturday than Friday eg Fresh fruit/fruit salad. Staff in the Breakfast Room were attentive and worked were hard ”

“The property was great. My party really enjoyed it. The only issue is that it was very cold when we arrived. I would suggest in winter having the heat on several hours prior to guest arrival. Otherwise, a great experience. ”

“Rooms were clean and staff were helpful.
Had booked a room with a double bed. It was small - more three quarters size.
Room was also small and the bathroom was tiny.
Noise from other rooms adjacent (light switches being turned on) was more than you would expect, and when taps were run or toilets flushed in adjacent rooms it was very loud.
Cooked breakfast was below par - ingredients seemed to be basic/cheap.
Car parking is tight and easy for your car to be blocked in.
No water supplied to……

“The bar downstairs is fun, noisy & lively. The bedrooms right above are the same. So if you don’t want a DJ in your bedroom until midnight, stay elsewhere.
They provide ear plugs in the rooms, so draw your own conclusion.

“I booked this room for one night with my two young children to attend a sporting event nearby. The hotel is situated very near to the railway station and above a very noisy pub. The room itself is very basic which was fine for our one night stay and we appreciate there is little to be done about the outside noise however the window was broken we had to wedge it shut, this didnt help with the noise volume. The water was cold in the evening which meant cold showers before bed the room overall was……
