「We would definitely stay at the Loopy Shrew again. Great value for money. Our room and bathroom were very clean, quiet and comfortable. We heard nothing from the pub below. The location is great, with very short walks to beautiful areas of town. There was a lovely array of breakfast choices included for free with the room charge; we had vegetarian eggs Benedict, coffee/tea & juice. 「Brilliant stay in the heart of the town. Very modern, provides basic necessities such as shower gels and tea and coffees. The pub is just downstairs so any issues you can report to them. Keyless entry to the hotel and your room, very good value for money. 」

「We loved our stay at the Ancient Gatehouse. The room was lovely and looked out over the green in front of the Wells Cathedral. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel has an excellent Italian restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner before walking around the lovely town of Wells. Americans should know it is not air conditioned, but air conditioning is rare in the UK and Europe. There is a fan and lovely large windows. We will definitely return.」
