「I first stayed at Brownhill in 2006 while I was helping my daughter to settle in to her first job, at PGL, Boreatton Park. To give her space and time to settle in, I stayed at Brownhill House each time she had a day off, for her first few weeks, and travelled myself in between visits (to show her that if Mum can do it, then so can she!). 「My sister and I meet up once a year and we had a lovely stay. I got the booking wrong and forgot to ask for twin beds and they sorted it out for us. So accommodating. Lovely place for exploring Coalport and ironbridge. 」

「The stay was good. Easy to check in. Convenient location. Clean and good quality for the price paid. However i have stayed in the same room before and the hot tap in the basin worked. Not on this stay at all. There was hot water from the shower, but if you wanted a wet shave, bad luck! 」

「Convenient to road system but unaffected by traffic noise. Free parking. Reception friendly and efficient. Lifts available. My room had 2 double beds which made the room seem cramped. The bed I used was comfortable. Ensuite bath with an over shower. I had to fix the shower curtain back on the track to avoid soaking the floor. Food good quality and reasonably priced.」

「A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it...

「Very comfortable stay. Nice pool, nice room with opening window for fresh air. But, most importantly, every single member of staff was exceptionally friendly and polite - and they all work hard. Service really good, restaurant food is amazing. Each meal I tried (for the week) was spot on. Especially the duck! Prices very reasonable imho. Also, in the bar open during the day, small breakfast options such as baps are available. Really nice overall feel.」
