“My daughter and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending performances at the nearby theatre. The hotel was lovely and we were lucky enough to have what a couple of the staff described as the 'best room'. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was a little soft for my liking, although still comfortable. All staff we encountered were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The small amount of food we had was a hit, especially with my daughter! We would definitely stay here again. ”

“Excellent stay , room lovely all staff were so friendly and helpful ! Breakfast very nice , no complaints at all it was 30 degrees when we stayed ,room was very warm but a fan was provided without us needing to ask . There is free parking but wd parked at the ncp which is literally across the road .”

“We would definitely stay at the Loopy Shrew again. Great value for money. Our room and bathroom were very clean, quiet and comfortable. We heard nothing from the pub below. The location is great, with very short walks to beautiful areas of town. There was a lovely array of breakfast choices included for free with the room charge; we had vegetarian eggs Benedict, coffee/tea & juice. Our main suggestion is to provide a standing fan on warmer evenings. Also, the comfy duvet was just too hot so a……

“First visit to this Hotel and I must say how delited I was with the degree of professionalism combined with a friendly genuine welcome from the moment I arrived to leaving. Standard of accommodation was terrific with an emphasis on attention to detail. Would highly recommend the full English breakfast. I'll definitely add this hotel to my favourites list. 10/10 ”
