「We’ve booked one night here at first, then we decided to go there one day before and booked one more day. We told the reception lady when we arrived check in, she said it’s ok, no need to do the check in again and we could stay in the same room. The next day at ten mins before ten, a housekeeper locked on our door and told us to check out. We’re surprised and told her our case, she told us to check with the reception. Then the reception said we’ve to check out and come back by 4 to check in...

「Check in time located in the cafe, time is limited, except inform hotel by phone. Provide free wifi. Breakfast included. No hairdryer in the room. No lift, you have to lift luggage by yourself to the second floor. Double bed for singe for single room, large for one person.」

「One of the most beautiful building and gardens. It felt like being at a national trust, not just a hotel because the grounds are so well thought out and looked after. Outfoor Pool area is gorgeous but some bits need a bit of an extra clean or facelift- the rim around the pool had gone green and some features looked slightly dated or cluttered. 「There was no air conditioning, and the room was extremely hot and stuffy. A member of staff told us they would provide an additional fan, so we went to reception to ask. We were told a fan would be sent to our room, but after waiting over an hour nothing arrived. When we returned to reception, we were then told that no fans were available. 「Beautiful cosy double room full of amenities, mini bar, fridge and Nespresso machine, and fresh milk! Lovely modern bathroom. Rooms hot in the heatwave we are experiencing but a fan was provided and I took my own. Hotel provided extra bottled cold water to help which was a nice touch. Loved the local honey given as a gift in the rooms. Had dinner and breakfast. Both very good. Lovely staff team too. Would highly recommend」

「There was a car park which was easy to use and felt safe. The room was big, clean and very comfortable. The staff on reception were very friendly and checked in to make sure everything was okay with our stay. Very good value for money and would highly recommend. 」

With this comes issues with either a very steep staircase up to the rooms or use of an emergency exit at the rear (which is made of metal steps with a precarious old mat dangerously situated at the top). 「There were build works outside by terrace overlooking lake with cement mixer and angle grinder cutting stone most of the day the Saturday I was there . Not the best idea with patrons sitting there by temporary plastic tape eating and drinking . Perhaps a fencing of sorts to obscure the works ?」
