「This is an stunning old building, but not the best maintained. Room had a stale smell, especially in the bathroom. Cleanliness not great, some surfaces and corners were dusty, water marks on the coffee machine. Room sold as beach view, but wasn't the best. 「Grand Hotel needing a Grand Redecorate! The condition of the hotel was extremely poor, which is a shame when you think it would have been top end when the hotel first opened. Very obvious that any work that had been carried out was done on the cheap and to an extremely poor standard. The light inside the room did not work, only the bathroom light.
