The included breakfast was nice but the cost for additional guests to join did not match what was offered. It felt a bit odd to charge so much so that people I was visiting could join me when for much less we could have gotten more from a local restaurant. "The property is gorgeous and meticulously taken care of. The amenities were lovely and everything was decorated so thoughtfully. The only snag was the transfer of sound, which is probably unavoidable given the type of building, proximity to University Avenue, and a punk music festival coinciding with my stay. Bring ear plugs and you’ll be fine!"

"We stayed Friday-Monday, Room was clean, love how quiet it is, had all the towels and toiletries we may have needed. Owner talked to us every time he saw us and asked if there was anything we needed. He joined us for morning coffee and danishes and talked about why we were visiting and told us about the property and plans for the expansion of it in the near future. Will definitely stay again when we come back to visit friends that live in the area. "

It wasn’t a short drive to Gainesville commencement activities but it was a very easy drive so that was not a problem. We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed time on the lake.
