When a party stays for two nights, the room should be cleaned both days including fresh towels and bath items. That said, it was the nicest B&B we ever stayed at, beautiful and immaculate with excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Cookies and wine at night, always wells stocked. Walking distance to a lot of shops. Highly recommend.

It would be nice to have a comfortable chair or place to sit while dressing. My wife found the wooden chairs less than ideal. We enjoyed the absence of TV and really enjoyed spending time on the porches engaged in lively conversation with other guests. All said, great experience. Dave & Rita Young

Charming house, room needs to up the charm factor

While the overall house is majestic, our room lacked the charm expected at B&Bs. The decor was minimal, the towels, linens and toiletries no different than a regular hotel. It was the most underwhelming B&B stay that I can recall out of at least 12 others in Florida. Breakfast quiche was Ok, but sausage a bit strong.

Our stay at the Herlong Mansion was wonderful. Beautiful place and walking distance to lots of antique shops and places to eat. Our breakfast at the Herlong with those delicious homemade lemon thumb prints was amazing.
