Bird's Nest

The views from the decks were wonderful, thus the "bird's nest" description. We enjoyed our stay at Cooper's Bay and it appealed to all members of our large party. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and bathroom availability was never a problem. The cabin is nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and the weather could not have been any better. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had. The kitchen is spacious so 2 or 3 people can work together on meal prep. The barbecue worked very well as well as the fire pit for smores! We made lots of memories and enjoyed the property very much!

Absolute gem!

View, view, view! Sit on the deck and watch the osprey catch fish. Enjoy the sunset, sunrise from a sparkling clean, well thought out beautifully renovated home. The most well equipped kitchen of any rental I have ever stayed in. Amazing view of the lake, fun to be had right down the steps at the deep water dock. Kayak, paddle board, hike, walk, swim, rent a boat next door, pontoon, ski, surf. Town is a quick 5 minute ride if a dinner out is what you want. A well fenced yard so absolutely no worry if you do bring a small four legged friend. Super responsive and helpful management team. I would absolutely recommend this rental and we look forward to going back next summer!

Clean and well stocked home on the lake

This property had been updated since the listing photos and was a nice surprise! The updates are modern, clean, and well done. A fun surprise awaits for you in the stone fireplace. The house is very spacious and was well stocked with a ton of bathroom towels (no beach towels). Be sure to bring cooking items like spices and oils as only salt and pepper was found in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need and plenty of plates, glasses, etc. The kids loved the bunkroom and games downstairs. 3 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, plenty of life vests, and a great dock with a table and chairs. This home was fantastic and we really appreciated a lot of the light switches being labeled so we could quickly figure things out. We would recommend this property to anyone and we have a high standard.

This property is exceptional in evety way! The location is fantastic as you can easily go into town to get supplies and it is only a few housescaway from the only restsurant/marina on Hayden Lake. If you want to go to downtown Coeur d'alene, it's merely a 15 minute drive.

We came to Hayden as a family of eight for a weeks holiday, even our fur babies could join us! Cooper’s Bay escape was a wonderful place to stay. The cabin was nicely decorated, spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Enjoying meals out on the deck while overlooking the lake was relaxing. The dock was a great place to lounge, fish and swim! Having the red dock lights, which differ from everyone else’s blue lights made it easy to find after our late night boating trips. Thank you for sharing your place and allowing us to create family memories, Hayden Lake holds a very special place in our hearts!

Great view and location !

Pros:Great location with amazing view . Waking up to a postcard view was surreal. Easy access to the lake to enjoy fishing , paddle boarding… We traveled with our dog so the fenced backyard and easy access for her potty needs was great . Cons: Lots of stairs , parking is a little uncomfortable. The house is clean but for some reason I kept finding hair from previous tennnats . Kids room where my son was sleeping pillow case had hair , my daughter was staying in the other bedroom and she complained about finding eyelashes on her pillow and in master bathroom there was hair stuck to the wall. Overall, the place was clean, except for the hair situation.So overall, we had positive experience and would stay again .

A Nice Stay on Lake Hayden

Our family stayed at Lake Hayden for over a week. The home was clean and the views out the front window were beautiful. We enjoyed the private dock even in October as the weather was still nice. Our teen kids liked the downstairs "game room" with the air hockey, darts, etc. We did bring many of our own kitchen supplies because we like to cook, and this home like most we stay at, had a mish mash of supplies. Mainly, we don't want to cook with Teflon and so we came prepared with our own knives, cookware, etc. Overall though, this home was comfortable, clean, and it was calming to look out at the water each day. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony around the gas fire pit. Be prepared for stairs, about 35 steps to reach the top/main level which was not a problem for us. You can walk across the road to enjoy the dock but if you want to hike/walk around, you would need to drive somewhere because the road along the home is too narrow to safely walk along.

Wonderful Labor Day Weekend

Amazing property

We stayed with my 2 sisters and their families and we all enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room for all of us to not step on each other. The kids ages 4-12 loved the lower floor with all the entertainment! The house was adorably decorated and had plenty of amenities for us to enjoy. We would definitely rent again. .

Great stay only 1 issue

We had no hot water at check-in but property management/owner is in CDL so they were Easy to contact and sent worker over right away-place was clean, comfy and enough bathrooms (2 full and 2 half) for families sharing the space (we had 3 adult kids, grandma and mom and Dad) need to know basis-house has stairs so all suitcases and groceries need to be carried up those outside stairs. We had 3 strong guys in group so no big deal, but may be issue for others to know

Hayden Lake

House and location are beautiful. Difficult communicating with rental company. The kayaks/wake boards were missing when we arrived on Friday and the propane for the grill was out. Notified the rental company by text and no response until Monday. Tried phoning the number provided and the office was closed until Monday. Issues were resolved Monday afternoon.
