“Robert (host), communicates well during entire stay, with check in, check out instructions as well as checking in should we need anything. Cabin is clean and beautiful. We enjoyed how nice the interior was designed and how homey it felt. Quiet at night and the back porch is nice to sit out on and have a beverage. The only thing we found that by no means would keep us from staying again was not having a traditional coffee pot. However, it was a quick fix by running the to grocery store and……

“Had a last minute long weekend stay over Labor Day - the pictures of this view don’t do it justice. It is breathtaking! This whole area around Lake Chatuge is just beautiful! We absolutely fell in love with the area and will be back. Grilled out steaks on back deck and enjoyed eating them to a beautiful sunset and that view- no restaurant could compete! So many things to do within 30 min drive - we did Brasstown Bald, Cupid Falls at Young Harris College, walked cross the dam at Lake Chatuge……

“Quaint mountain Chalet with lots of outdoor activities in Franklin and nearby in other towns like Sylva, Highlands, Cashiers, Lake Glenville, and Georgia. Loft is cute but hotter temp. Nice Mountain View from the porch. 2 bathrooms are always a bonus feature. I’d return and definitely recommend this cabin.”

“Great view but without the onerous drive up mountains like other properties. We’ve done this yearly trip 9 times and stayed all over, but have decided this is the best house for us. It’s 10 minutes from both the NOC and the Almond marina. Also well priced for a house that can sleep 8 of us.”

“Wonderful location. One of the best rentals I have stayed at for views and comfort of Cabin. Views are unmatched. Right on the river. Even if you don't use the upstairs bedroom, make sure to get up and look at the view off of the upper deck. Dirt road going in was a little more rustic that I planned for, but the views are definitely worth it. ”
