Wonderful staff, very helpful, excellent breakfast! Home made cinnamon rolls were so yummy! If you are visiting or passing through Russell don’t miss the breakfast treat!!
This is an older motel, and we've stayed here many times. It's clean and updated. My favorite thing about it is the home-made breakfast items which are so much better than the standard 'continental" crap at a lot of other places. Also, everyone working at the front desk has been very friendly, and efficient.
It may not be fancy, but it's a good place to stay.
So we read the previous reviews before booking. Alot of them were," dated but, kept rooms", which we found to be true. The BIGGEST reason we booked was the complementry Breakfast reviews! Spot on, homemade cinnamon rolls, eggs made not out of a premade bag, decent bisquets and gravey. Speaking with other guest(s) at breakfast they have booked several times with the hotel because of the breakfast/decent rooms. So overall great place for a night while passing through KS.
Lobby was nicely fall decorated.
Great breakfast! Rooms dated and maybe a little less clean than I would have liked. Desk worker very nice. Large outdoor pool. Not a bad budget hotel and would stay again.
Property neat, well organized, everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent. Great biscuits and sausage biscuits. Well arranged tables snd places yo eat. This is our third time staying here about 7 years. Stop here when ever we are needing a night stay on Kansas.
worked in the hotel room while family used the pool. Great place if you have a dog on the trip! There was open spaces nearby for the dog to play. Great breakfast
We also liked the outdoor electrical outlets near the parking spots.
A great stop of I-70. Drove this many times and feel this is the most comfortable stop along the way to Denver and they provide an excellent breakfast! Family owned service
